Motorbikes - I love motor bikes and the simple pleasure of
cruising down
the road with the wind in my face but what really makes this hobby
so great is that I get to share it with so much of my family and
friends.
Most days will find me out cruising around with
my wife Monica,
who has her own bike or
my brother Rick; many times his daughter Belinda or son Michael
are with us as well. I'm really pleased with my current bike, it is
a 2000 Yamaha Vstar 1100 and right now it is getting a new rear
fender and paint before the 2006 riding reason starts. Monica
rides a Honda Shadow 500 and Rick rides a 2002 Honda Magna 750.

WOODWORKING - I am slowly collecting enough wood working
tools to actually be able to create some of the ideas that are in
running through my head.
I
like to do craft related projects but over the last 2 years I have
made shelves and a whole set of cupboard doors for doors for the
cedar wall unit I built in my basement. It is a very relaxing hobby
and has proved to be a rewarding and sometimes entertaining
hobby. ( Guess there will always be some projects that go astray but
at least they do make for great firewood ! ) |
C&W
BAND - I have been playing in a garage band called 'Back N Tyme' for the last 15
years and we play at dances in local
halls and retirement homes. About 7 years ago
my
older brother Rick joined us and we have been a band ever since. My
friend Bill plays rhythm guitar, Rick plays bass, Trevor on drums and I play lead
guitar with Bill & I doing the vocals. It is a lot
of fun but our only regret is that Mom & Dad never got to hear us
play.

This
picture is of Monica, Rick & I last summer, were on our way to
Blue Mountain in Collingwood. We had a
great summer on the bikes and we shared many enjoyable moments on our
travels. |
